The Exhibition of the truffle of Fabro, a great event devoted to the truffle

It's a consolidated brotherhood between the suburb of Fabro and a product so appreciated all over the world, the truffle. Every year in November is held a prestigious demonstration that celebrates its aromas and perfumes, the National Exhibition of the truffle and the Sour-alimentary Products. It's a great event during which is possible to admire this precious fruit of the earth that dominates in the taste, both in the simplest dishes, and in the gamest preparations. The whole territory of Fabro furnishes truffle of good quality, also in its less diffused version, that one that cannot be found: the '' white '' truffle, a real prince of the table. During the Exhibition numerous initiatives serve as background to the presentation of the star of the local production. It deserves a mention the delivery of the '' Vanghetto d'oro'', a journalistic prize that is assigned to the editor that distinguished in the production of articles with main topic the truffle and its possible uses in the cuisine. Contextually to the truffle, the Exhibition exposes the numerous typical products that abound in the area of Fabro renewing a rich gastronomic offer that allows the tourist to appreciate all the resources of the territory.

The gastronomic products are only one of the peculiarities that this territory, in a privileged environmental context, possesses, where the visitor can surely find the most proper place for serene periods of vacation. Uncontaminated nature, hospitality and typical places allow to penetrate in a regional reality of border, among Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, easily attainable thanks to the near highway Autostrada del Sole, totally absorbed in the Villalba Ecological Park.
