Last minute Events Umbertide

The Rocca, the fortress of Umbertide offers its exposition rooms for an event which aims to bring out the handicraft which is a basic element of the economic, social and cultural fabric of the town. The exhibition points out the new artistic expressions of the local, regional and national handicraft. 

May: Spring Festival - Cycle of classical and chamber music concerts, organized by the Nuova Scuola Popolare di Musica.
September: Fair of the Ecological Agriculture - Workshops, conferences and discussions about ecological and sustainable models of agricultural development take place, but also about the local gastronomy and its products.
September: “Fratta dell’Ottocento” - Historical recalling in period costumes of matters, which had really happened in the territory. More than 250 walk-ons animate the town, along its streets are set out stalls, and opened inns where one can taste the dishes from the local gastronomy.
November: Rhumors – National Competition of Short Films from School workshops - Film festival reserved for the short films produced by pupils of all grades and any kind of school from all over Italy.
December-January: Teatroaperto - Theatre performances of various kinds are performed also outside of the usual stage in fascinating places, which are perfectly suited to house any kind of theatre performed during the event.
