At Terni and its surroundings, the entire month of February is dedicated to numerous initiatives aiming to celebrate the figure of St Valentine, his feast and his message. In the context of the festivities find place conferences, meetings, workshops, and music and film spectacles. The yearly Feast of the Promise awakes a particular interest, a ceremony that takes place on the 14^th February, the Feast of the Lovers, in the Basilica di San Valentino, where numerous couples that are engaged go to exchange solemn marriage promises.

January: Terni: ''Happy Days'' - Brand new exhibition at Terni of vintage gambling machines, among which the famous pinball machine deserves the honour place.
January-June: Terni: Visioninmusica - Cycle of concerts which unites good music to a proper mission to educate to listening, leading youngsters and pupils on a route, that fosters a better comprehension of the various languages of music.
March: Terni: International Prize, the Golden St Valentine - At the Palazzo Gazzoli at Terni are bestowed prizes to the personalities who in the course of the previous year distinguished themselves in the fields of the show, science and humanitarian organizations spreading their proper message of love.
March-April: Terni in Scienza - Competition promoted by the Commune of Terni which involves the young people of the provinces of Perugia, Viterbo, Rieti and Terni, who are invited to work on an interactive project of a scientific nature. The resulting exhibits are exposed to the public and the best one wins the trophy ''Terni in Scienza''.
April: Terni in Jazz Spring - Every year the streets, squares and pubs of Terni turn into a festive stage ready to house the prestigious jazz festival.
April: Terni: International Boat Race in the Memorial of Paolo D’Aloya - International boat race on the lake Piediluco, which opens the athletics season with the participation of more than 30 crews from all over the world.

Besides many conferences, exhibitions and stalls high quality jazz concerts colour the squares of Terni.
June: Terni in Jazz Fest - Summer music event which is entirely dedicated to the best Italian and international jazz. For one week, Terni is literally invaded by a flood of innovative, experimental and original concerts, an event that every year is enriched with new initiatives.
June-July: Terni: The Water Festival - Event which takes place in the beautiful frame of the lake Piediluco since ancient times to celebrate summer solstice, today with many spectacles which include fireworks, theatre performances, music events, gastronomic stalls and many other initiatives.
July: Terni: Villalago Makes Music Festival - Brilliant music event which takes place at the open-air theatre of Villalago, near Terni. Concerts of singer-songwriters and sophisticated groups take turns in these July evenings in a festival that presents every year a programme, which deserves our whole attention.
July-August: Terni: Cabaret(ti)amo - At Collescipoli takes place this entertaining event, which is dedicated to cabaret and the art of entertainment.
July-August: Terni: Piediluco in Music - For more than ten years the Cultural Association "Mirabil Eco" promotes a rich programme with various cultural and musical initiatives, that are concerts, workshops and master classes.
September: Terni Cavour Art - At September takes place this event with a rich and varied programme, which proposes numerous artistic spectacles, exhibitions and concerts.
