In the small Piazza Fortebraccio,
soul of the suburb, every year thousand of meters of film flow projected on a
giant screen giving life to the prestigious cinema review that founf a proper
space in the heart of the impassioned ones. But what's more surprising is the
high quality of the selected and proposed movies that has attracted the
interest of characters that marked fundamental stages of the world cinema. We
speak about Terry Gilliam, that of Monties Python, author of a
lot of famous movies, what "The adventures of the Baron of Munchausen",
"You legend of the King Pescatore", "The army of the
12 monkeys", "Brazil", only to mention some of his
movies. Real artist of talent and genial personality, he passed part of his
time in Montone, and particularly in concomitance with Umbria Film Festival,
the other Face of the European Cinema.
The review is characterised for the great
attention reserved to the other cinema, that independent, and European
especially, giving voice and light to the best that is in circulation. The
various sections in which the demonstration is subdivided allows to involve an
elevated number of spectators, fascinated by the beauty of the place and by the
selection of the proposed movies.
