December-January: Living Crib
By now it’s an ancient tradition at Monteleone
d’Orvieto to set out a charming living crib in the fascinating
scenery of the streets and squares of the town, which turn for this occasion
into a part of Bethlehem.

June: The Night of the Luminaries - In occasion of the celebration of
St
Peter and Paul procession in period costumes passes by the streets of the
town recalling a historical incident described in an ancient communal statute,
which is the obligation of the commune to donate to the local church a tall 5
pound wax candle for the festivities in honour of
St Peter and Paul.
August: Reunion - This characteristic event has its place in
the rich summer programme and is entirely dedicated to the emigrants of
Monteleone
d’Orvieto, who once a year meet at their native village. In this
occasion, they are celebrated with music and dance evenings, exhibitions and
conferences.
