The town Magione
The Tower of Lombardi was stung of defence and of observation built in 1200, named as Marcello Lambardi,
killed just near there. After the construction of the Abbazia (Castello
dei Cavalieri di Malta), it's connected through an underpass.
The Church of San Giovanni Battista was built around halves the '500 and devoted to their patron by the Cavalieri
di Malta. It was reconstructed after the bombardments of the Second World
War. The inside frescos were commissioned to the futurist painter Gerardo
Dottori.
The notable City-hall, inside which is
located the Sala del Consiglio, painted by Gerardo Dottori with
two works one representing the meeting among Fra Giovanni di Pian del
Carpine and he Gran Khan, the other showing the area of Magione and its economic activities.
