Lake Trasimeno, a Patrimony of the Humanity

From 7^th February 2006 the lake Trasimeno has officially joined the world association Living Lakes, an unlimited net that protects and guards the lake ecosystems of every country distinguished for remarkable historical, cultural and landscape interest. Totally 41 world lakes are part of the association, as the Victoria, Titicaca, Balaton, Dead Sea and the Trasimeno, which is the only one in Italy, recently added to the list.
