これは１７世紀、
ペルージャ出身で
ジョーヴェに住んでいた為、町の人から
ペルジーノと呼ばれていた
フランチェスコ・カッファレッリの依頼で、家の正面玄関の上に飾る為製作されたものである。 その聖母の肖像は常に人々の崇拝の対象となり、９月中旬頃にはその為の祝賀が行われる。
