May: Festival of the Medieval Statutes
At May is celebrated one of the elements,
which founded the identity of Fossato di Vico, the statutes Statuti
di Fossato, published on Sunday, 13th May 1386, and with
that among the most ancient in Umbria. Scenes of medieval life
are revived in costumes of the period, as it is described in the Statutes, of
the reading of which the personalities get alive and animated playing the
proper role of the Lord of the Castle, the Vicar, the Peasant. A market is
organized, the "focaraccio" is lighted and lauds are sung, all very
to the letter of the Statutes.

June-July: Feast of St Peter - In the summer time between June and July
several cultural and music events take place together with samplings of typical
local products and ecological initiatives.
novembre: The wineries of San Martino - At November takes place a festival where
one can taste new and vintage wines.
