Last minute Events Castel Ritaldi

The fascinating exhibition market for olive oil and local agroindustrial products Mostra Mercato dell’Olio di Frantoio e dei Prodotti Agroalimentari Tipici takes place at Castel Ritaldi, where one can taste the new oil and many other local products at stalls, samplings and conferences.

July: Palio of the Ghost - Historical recalling in medieval costumes of an ancient competition between knights from 1499, initiated by the count Ritaldi to honour the presence of Lucrezia Borgia.
June: Bruna June - In June takes place the historical commemoration of the miracle of the Madonna della Bruna. In the 16^th century, some pilgrims arrived at a place near the present sanctuary Santuario della Madonna della Bruna. They were tired from the journey and took rest under a tree. When they decided to start out again they could not lift the banner they were carrying with them to worship the Blessed Clare, until they had painted on a wall the image printed on the banner.
July-September: Musike'state - Music event in summer that takes place in several communes in the territory of Spoleto.
