May: May Feast
The feast unites the festivities, which
are dedicated to May with the celebration in honour of St Pancras.
It is made up of two distinct phases. At the beginning a pole is raised, “May''
in the characteristic ''arzata'', at whose top is fixed a sack with gifts.
Afterwards one can participate at the ''roncata'', that is the attempt of the
participants to climb on the pole and to snatch the sack. Who succeeds in
getting hold of it takes possession of the content.
