September: Festival of the Onion
It is the most important moment in the
economical and cultural life of Cannara, which takes place in
the first half of September and scores record-breaking streams of tourists and
a great public esteem. During the festival gastronomic stalls are prepared,
where one can have dinner with the local dishes that often are prepared with
the sought-after onion Cipolla di Cannara. In the streets of
the town one can buy these local onions and many other things and products of
the local artisanship and agriculture.

April: La Rinchinata - Very attracting religious feast which
takes place in the Easter-afternoon, and where is commemorated the
meeting of the risen Christ with his Mother.
