Three new creations between time and motion
At the headquarters of Confapi of Perugia, is visible to the public until 18 February, an exhibition of contemporary art of the artist Giorgio Lupattelli. The title of the exhibition: Fast Forward button on the remote control is based on the DVD, which allows rapid scrolling of images, in contrast with the rewind button. With this analogy, the artist wants to express the concept of speed and frenzy of everyday life that characterizes our society, where each of us would now need to use the Fast Forward. The Umbrian artist to represent the concept of expressways and inevitable time, has created 3 works inspired a number of operations captured in going; athlete immortalized in the initial step of starting a race, the launch of the Apollo 11 missile, and a record player.
With these three creations Lupattelli wants to describe the relationship between time and motion, which in horizontal accompanying the wake of the runner, vertically below the thrust of the rocket launch, and through a circular motion and infinite, is the vinyl. Even in this exhibition, the artist focuses on the figure of contemporary man, which is subject to various socio-cultural and ongoing mutations.
