FAST UMBRIA
Futurists Portraits-From December 31 to February 7, 2010
One hundred years after the birth of the future, the city of Perugia, wants to remember and honor the most important avant-garde art of the twentieth century, with the exhibition: Umbria Fast.
Until 7 February 2010, Palazzo della Penna suggests exposure dedicated to portraits of the futurist movement in Umbria. The exhibition celebrates the great flow innovation and vitality that the future will bring in Umbria in the thirties, affecting every form of expression, from painting to sculpture to poetry, and involving the entire intellectual world. The exhibition opens with the work of sucks "future in which the author portrays the founders of the movement, and includes a substantial part documentary, texts drawn from public and private archives from Umbria, which explain fully the rise and development garde art in Umbria. The exhibition also offers a few numbers of the newspaper Futurist umbro "Griffa!" who gave voice to artists in 1920.
