The event ''Pane, Prosciutto e Fantasia'', Preci - 1,2,3 July 2005.
The event ''Pane, Prosciutto e Fantasia'', organised by the Town Council of Preci with the support of the Provincia di Perugia and the Regione Umbria, will be held from 1 to 3 July 2005 in Preci, Umbria, one of the most charming parts of the Monti Sibillini National Park. A weekend to celebrate local produce, in particular the famous cured ham, as well as to rediscover local traditions through visits to the surrounding medieval towns, wine and food tastings, exhibitions and conferences.
The event was created to highlight and promote the principle product of the area, the IGP cured ham of Norcia. An ideal climate and techniques handed down from generation to generation determine the quality of this product, which has been granted the prestigious Identificatione Geografica Protetta label by the European Union
